Dubbo Stampede Running Festival
Sunday 6th September, 2026
Dubbo Stampede is an annual running festival set along the Macquarie River, starting and finishing at Ollie Robbins Oval. With certified courses and a range of distances, the event is designed to be accessible and welcoming for participants of all ages and abilities.
From walking or wheeling 5km, to running 10km, a half marathon or a full marathon, the Stampede offers a unique experience in Central-West NSW. Select courses pass through Taronga Western Plains Zoo, making it one of the oldest major running festivals in NSW to run through a zoo, while others follow the river trails, showcasing Dubbo at its best.
The event is about health, wellbeing and community, bringing locals and visitors together for a day that celebrates participation as much as performance.
